Passionately obsessed with good food, I am in the frankly fortunate position of being able to be professionally, discerningly greedy. Most weeks my life revolves around cooking, tasting, talking food, dining out, partying and travelling all in the name of furthering my gastro-knowledge. These musings (at least weekly, I hope),offer more of a diary in the hedonistic life of a better foodie than my journalism otherwise allows. For well over a decade, I've written about food, restaurants, chefs, producers and foodie travel for a living. My repertoire includes the "Competitive Foodie" column in the Financial Times How to Spend It Magazine and regular features in the Saturday Telegraph, Delicious, Metro and BA High Life amongst other publications. I'm the author of "How to be a Better Foodie: the little bulging book for the truly epicurious" and currently working on plans for my second book.
